Laura has a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Pennsylvania State University and has trained with Juilliard's Arlene Shrut, opera's Antonio Conte Pugliese, and Italy's bel canto maestro, Capucine Chiaudani. She is a 5th year Grammy voting member and her voice is featured on 12 commercial albums. She first opened her private studio in Philadelphia in 2014, and her students have since gone on to Juilliard, Berkeley, Westminster Choir College, Oberlin, Temple, the University of the Arts Jazz Program, and others have been featured on both American Idol and The Voice. Many students have even co-written original songs with Laura and are now performing on their own.

​Laura bases her teaching methods on her expert knowledge of current pop music technique, her real-world experience as a singer in the music industry, and her early life training as a Certified Yoga Instructor to bring a completely holistic approach to teaching students how to develop their authentic voice.
